As the finale of ifilm series ‘A Beautiful Revolution’ was recently aired, we are providing our audience with an analytic account of the events in the story, in a few parts.
In the previous article, we talked of the symbolism depicted in the series, with ‘Beautiful’ representing the territory (Iran), and Able and Cane, the sons of Adam, respectively represented by Hamed and Jaber.
Hamed’s mother, who never trusts Jaber, gave her martyred husbands artifacts of memory (beads, and a special religious ring) to Hamed, during his marriage ceremony. This shows the depth of one’s belief in the roots of the Islamic movement that led to the Islamic revolution in Iran.
The film’s opening titles show prison cells (dating back to pre-revolution days) on which mottos such as ‘Salute to Khomeini’ and ‘I will sacrifice for my leader’ are written. That is the belief in which a religious leader, accepted and believed by the entire nation, would lead the resistance vis-à-vis Satanic powers.
Furthermore, in a short sequence of the series, there is talk of the US and the UK being the principal masters of Jaber, who is their puppet element.
Toward the end of the series, when Jaber’s plots are unveiled for Hamed, Ziba (meaning beautiful) and the police opine on Jaber’s performance in Iran and make false claim that Jaber has made a deal with Iran. They do so in overseas opposition channels of BBC, CNN and VOA.
In other words, while Jaber’s evil plots are decoded and clarified, the smart audience would recognize that a plan, well-designed by the US and the UK, has helped Jaber to enter the country.
